Description:
Dancing creates a space where those who have a hard time expressing their personality through words can do it on the dance floor. This will be a zero judgement, beginner-friendly dance workshop for folx who want to be within their community in a fun, high-energy way. At this workshop, folx will learn a short dance, with a provided break in-between, and be able to show off their moves by the end of it!
About the Presenters
My name is Gilli (she/they) and I’ve been dancing for 7 years and teaching for 4! Dance for me has been an outlet that allowed me to explore my identity as a whole, queer and all. At the end of the day, I keep dancing and teaching because I love the joy it brings dancers to feel in-tune with themselves, one step at a time.
