Description: The Digital Collage Project: A workshop around the intersections of building queer resilience online. Part 1: Art that makes an impact activity,; Queer voices will not be erased! A digital media collage project, with a discussion on the intersections of building queer resilience online through art, and digital media. Part 2: Guided conversation around the origins of online activism and holding safe queer space online;, with a focus on safe youth and student-based activism and advocacy. Youth Led Intersectional Activism Online In A Response To Hate and Erasure.

About the Presenters 

Wren Reeve (he/they) is an Equity Diversity Inclusion educator and Youth Group Facilitator within the county. Having grown up struggling to find safe ways to express their identities in Santa Cruz, they strive to make it a safe, inclusive space for everyone. His work is in advocacy and accessibility and focused on LGBTQIA2+, Neurodivergent, and Disability community. In their “free” time they are a student working on becoming a social worker, and has been known to talk about his pet reptiles, love of music, and a special interest in native bees.
