About the Workshop
Presenters: MJ Reynoso (they/them) and Nayela Reynoso (they/them)
Youth Led
Level: Intermediate
For: Both middle and high school students
Description: This workshop is meant to explore gender identity and sexuality through fashion. We hope this will help people learn about themselves and feel connected in their community. We know that, like coral, our community needs support and inclusive spaces to thrive, and we hope this workshop will do just that.
About the Presenters
MJ Reynoso (they/them) is an 8th grader at Lakeview Middle School. They have taken a long time to figure out their sexuality and gender, but they are happy where they are in their journey and now identify as pansexual, trans, and gender fluid. In their free time, they like to do art, play games, and dance.
Nayela Reynoso (they/them) is a 14 year old attending Anzar High School. They use they/them pronouns and identify as two spirited. They feel that fashion is a way they can truly feel gender euphoria and they love pushing the boundaries of their gender with the fun little outfits they make. In their free time, they like to make art, read books, and listen to music.
