Description: The Rainbow Connections (R.C.) Workshop will inform you about a new multi-tiered & multi-organization program aiming to improve services and outcomes for LGBTQ+ youth in Monterey County. You’ll be able to meet the staff behind the resources for youth, families, & youth serving systems. Our workshop aligns with this year’s theme as we recognize the intersectional adverse experiences LGBTQ+ youth face & the importance of their involvement for systematic change. Come by to learn about free upcoming events, R.C. leadership opportunities, get goodies, and gain resources to share!
About the Presenters
Angela Soto Cerros uses They/Them & Elle/Ella pronouns and is the Rainbow Connections Wellness Outreach & Engagement Coordinator of The Epicenter. Angela’s work consists of outreach & sharing Rainbow Connections resources, providing various trainings, and working with LGBTQ+ students to build stronger communities.
Kacey Rodenbush uses She/Her & They/Them pronouns and is the Behavioral Health Services Manager for Monterey County Behavioral Health. Kacey manages the Rainbow Connections Project and creates connections in community to support LGBTQ+ youth outcomes.
Andi Rossi uses She/Her pronouns and is a clinician for Monterey County Behavioral Health. Andi is the new on-site therapist for The Epicenter who can provide in-person or virtual sessions for LGBTQ+ youth in Monterey County.
George Cano uses He/Him pronouns and is the Family Support Partner for Partners for Peace. George offers bilingual family support groups for families of LGBTQ+ youth, provides one-on-one or group sessions, and offers a safe space for adults to learn how to support LGBTQ+ youth.
