Description:
The Trans Caucus is a space for transgender, non-binary, gender-non-conforming, and all gender expansive people to come together in a supportive discussion space. Just like how our cosmic universe is vast far beyond what we can comprehend, gender identity often holds complexity that is difficult for people to understand yet still real, valid, and important. In the Trans Caucus, we will share our feelings, experiences, and thoughts in an empowering environment.
About the Facilitators
Lynx: Hello!! I’m Lynx (he/him/they/xe), I’m a senior at North Salinas High School and the Historian in our LOVE Club. I am passionate about making a positive impact in people’s lives, and I hope to become a Social Worker after high school.
Pluuto: Hello very much, my name is Pluuto, I’m a North Salinas High School senior, and the president of our school’s LOVE Club!! My pronouns are she/her and I’m so excited to lead this year’s trans caucus!
