Comprehensive Sexual Health Educators (CSE) Cohort
The CSE Cohort offers free support for all K-12 school and community-based sexual health education teachers in Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Monterey counties, providing opportunities for professional development and community building. We offer biannual meetings to keep health educators up-to-date on the latest research, best practices, and changes to legislation and education codes that affect health education. We also offer one-on-one consulting and support in planning your health classes, answering student questions, and educating your school community on the importance of inclusive and medically-accurate health education.
Led by our interim Executive Director, Jamie A. Cutter, M.Ed., a local health educator with over a decade of experience teaching both youth and educators, and the author of Inclusive Sex Education. Contact Jamie Cutter at jamie.cutter@safeschoolsproject.org to learn more and sign up for future meetings.
In partnership with Cardea Services.
FALL 2026 CSE Cohort Meeting is Tuesday, September 15, 2026, 4:30-6:30pm via Zoom
