Representation Matters

About the Workshop

Youth & Adult Led
Level: Beginning
For: Both High School & Middle School Students
Description: Last year, during distance learning, the Cypress GSA decided to share some common experiences by forming an LGBTQ+ book club. We want to share what we look for in inclusive young adult literature, why reading books with happy endings for protagonists who identify as LGBTQ+ is important for youth, and how to join in our book club.
