For: Both middle and high school students
Description: This workshop will go over how we, The Queer and Trans Youth Council, were able to brainstorm, write, edit, and bind our zine, The Queer Agenda, with a focus on brainstorming and concepts. Attendees will be provided with open collaboration/conversation time and resources needed to make a mini zine relating to their identity or interests.
About the Presenters
Nico (he/they) is a Junior in high school with nearly 5 years of leadership and community service experience. Last year, they collaborated with Sion Erkiletian to create The Queer Agenda, a resource zine released through the Queer and Trans Youth Council.
Sion (they/them) is a queer junior who has a burning passion for social justice and LGBTQIA+ rights. They enjoy playing with their cat and spending time with loved ones. Sion loves working for better futures in their community.
