Description
In this workshop, the Queer Trans Youth Collective will give a presentation about the history and queer culture of fanfiction. It will go into its queer origins and how fanfiction is used to explore queerness through shipping and headcanons. After the presentation, participants will also be able to write their own fanfiction through a 20-25 minute writing sprint. Following the writing sprint, participants can share what they have written.
