For: Both middle and high school students
Description: Donated clothing will be available and participants are encouraged to bring their own. We will have embroidery supplies, fabric markers, sewing tools, and fabric available for embellishing clothing. The intent of this workshop is to explore new skills and ways to decorate your outfits and to have fun.
About the Presenters
Sara Homan (she/her) has been teaching sewing for 15+ years and enjoys working with young people. She believes that everyone should be able to express themselves through clothing and accessories. She is an avid thrifter and upcycler and also runs a quarterly arts and crafts swap designed to help keep usable materials out of the landfill.
